Ahmadinejad

Ahmadinejad is in New York. I tried writing a long argument about how we are totally approaching the Iran situation in the wrong way, but it’s just way too long so I’m going to cut to the chase.

Ahmadinejad is not Hitler. He is Ahmadinejad.
Islamists are not Islamofascists. They are Islamists.

Stop conflating Ahmadinejad with Hitler and Fascists with Islamists. It makes it impossible to deal effectively with foreign policy issues. It’s just how politicians dumb down the debate, and it can only make things worse.

Here’s what freaks me out about the situation. Ahmadinjad is a government leader. The people who are dealing with him are government leaders. God help the rest of us.

Fascist:
1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

I would have to say for the most part they are fascists. Your wrong.

By the way you have plagerized Pat Buchanans article from 9-1-06

Well, sweatie pie. You forced me to read Buchanan's 9/1 article. BORING! But I don't think Jon plagiarized. I think they may agree...but I saw no plagiarism.
