I get to go back to work tomorrow!

Actually, work has been more fun lately. My department hired a new person who they sent through training with a bunch of vice-presidents (assistants and seniors). It was a good way to meet some people and I actually learned a few things.

One of which Jeff isn't too happy about. Apparently our company has this credit out there that very few people knew about. One of the guys brought it up during training but he wasn't sure if it extended beyond certain programs. So I asked around because it's a credit that we could use in the near future on some of our accounts. Nobody knew where this credit came from and how it was applied.

This is where it got awkward. After I asked this one guy, he took me straight to the VP of commercial lines. I wasn't expecting that. He didn't know either so we went over this one department where the systems experts are. We found a person who had the answer. Yey. It was awkward, and yet I kinda feel good about digging up some obscure property credit.


I have a screening interview for that one job on Tuesday with the head of the program. Hopefully that goes well.
