So the middle east is going crazy. Grandma are packing RPGs creating great photo ops. I've been keeping somewhat up to date but I was suddenly stopped by a question. Why do I care? The fact is that you can go through your days without paying attention to the news and it wouldn't make any difference except give you more freetime.
Maybe it's just an interesting diversion. We do it because it's intellectually satisfying to have an idea of what is going on. Why? No clue. I've never been to the middle east, I know no one there. It makes no sense.

I think Americans are interested in the rest of the world because we are dependant on it, and they are dependant on us. I have followed the middle east, and yikes what a tinder box! I hope Israel plays its hand right!
