I'm in New Hampshire right now visiting Paul Pearl. Tonight we're going to a Wilco concert in Mass. Yesterday was pretty sweet. I don't have the pictures to upload yet because I'm still here but those will be coming. We first hit up the NH shore which is pretty rocky. We tortured snails, destroyed rocks and watched the tide come. And before you start throwing out gay jokes there was a girl there too, a friend of our's named Cherie who also went to Grove City.

From there we went on a random drive towards the mountains until we saw a little podunk pond with a dirt road. Paul says "let's see what this does." I agreed and we drove about two seconds when we saw this:

That isn't my picture and it wasn't sunset yet, but it was still really cool to stumble on. The strange thing is that hardly anyone was there. It is a private lake open to the public but doesn't allow motorized boats. Only kayaks, canoes, fishing and swimming. We got a raft and I tried to see how far out I could go. The thing is pretty large so I got nowhere close to the middle. Even then I couldn't hit the bottom so I'm guessing it's pretty deep. We did some hiking around there which was nice, except for all the bugs.

After that, we drove Kancamagus Highway. That had a lot of great scenic overlooks.

That is a beautiful picture. Its nice when you can have a nice romantic get away with your former college "roomy."
