It's official. Two interns already hate me. Our department has two "school girls" who are there to do basic data entry stuff. I figure there's two of them there, so why not use them? So use them I did, much to their chagrin. I know it was to their chagrin because they were bitching about it after I left. "The work is piling up. Just because there's two of us now makes them think we can do all this!" Considering everything in the bin except one binder came from me, I think we can safely conclude who "they" is.
What they have yet to realize is that my brother's cubicle is right next to their set up and he can hear everything they say, much to his chagrin because they apparently gossip non-stop.
I don't care. I have the biggest book of business out of any UTA, it's 90% NY which means there's a lot of time consuming governmental compliance issue (I still hate the government), and I'm supposed to be doing things that will transition me into the Assistant Account Manager position, for which I took the job.
As things stand right now, I can't do much of the career development end because I'm working 50-55 hour weeks (with a 1.25 hour commute) doing all the small crap trying to cope with a $27.5 million book of business that keeps growing.
One of my assistant account managers (the one I go to with practically all questions) is out for the next two weeks, which means I have to do some of the things that she would normally handle while she's gone. I'm not complaining here. It's basically account management stuff (audits, cancellations, claims coordination) involving a certain degree of phone tag. I really like it. I want her job ASAP

Well, the girls can't be too smart as you and Jeff have the same last name. Doesn't seem too hard to make a connection there!
If they're not smart girls.... those are the ones you want to take out!
