I hate the government so much.

Did you know that when you sign your 10-40, you are signing away your 4th amendment rights? The IRS doesn't need a warrant from a judge to search your house because by signing your 1040 you give them the authority to do so. Of course if you don't file, you go to jail. But whatever.

It also violates your 5th amendment rights. You're legally obligated to file, but by doing so you could be witnessing against yourself, which the 5th amendment says you don't have to do (i.e. plead the 5th). Again, if you decide to exercise your constitutional right, you go to jail because that is evidently a criminal act.

And the reason I really hate the IRS? Whenever I work overtime, it seems like 35-40% of the additional income I get is withheld.
