Work has been canceled two times in the past two weeks. This morning it was canceled for snow and last week it was closed because the furnace broke down. My boss called at 7 am and gave me the good news so I slept in an extra 5 hours. :)

I interviewed with Big Brother/Big Sister yesterday and during the conversation I realized I have the most boring life in the world. Maybe it was just the questions the person was asking.

I needed a haircut the other day and instead of going to the standard barber shop I decided to go to a real salon to see if they could give me something resembling a hair style. I went to this place called Modern Male. I sat in the chair and told the really hot hair cutter girl how my parents started me off with the part and comb over thing when I was three and I was thinking about trying something else now. She then started rubbing my head. I figured, ok she's trying to see how my hair lies and messing it up will facilitate that. But then she kept rubbing for like over two minutes. Then she moved to my neck and then my shoulders. Talk about awkward when you’re not expecting it.

I went and watched "Because I said So" with some girls last Sunday. Worst movie ever. I really like Diane Keaton, especially her Woody Allen films, but it was painful to watch her. At one point in the movie she developed laryngitis and wasn't able to talk. Somehow she still managed to be annoying. I think some sort of quid pro quo payoff is in order here. I’m thinking the next time they are over we’re watching Robocop or something.

There is NO WAY it could be worse than "Failure to Launch." That is the worst movie ever! (IMHO of course.)

Speaking of the back rub thing...I went to Reflections a few years ago (which is where mom and Janine go, I think). The shampoo girl was massaging my head. It was pretty weird, but actually kind of relaxing. Maybe it's a nicer salong "thing" or perhaps you went to a "special" beauty salon. :)

Yeah, it was a upscale hair place. The haircut was almost twice what I paid in New Jersey for the standard treatment. She seemed to really know what she was doing though. I figure it won't hurt too much to stick with them for a little while.
