I bought some stuff today. I waited in line to save 400-600 dollars on a TV. Basically I blew a little over my ARM designation reward money to get this stuff.

amazon.com had was selling 1000 xbox 360s for $100 a piece. The deal opened at 2 o'clock and sold out before my computer finally loaded it at 2:10.
I'm thinking about doing something crazy tonight. Best Buy is selling televisions at steeply discounted prices early friday morning. Of course you have to get there early to get a spot in line. How early? The guy at the store i talked to said 8 or 9 o'clock pm tonight. Ouch.

We just drove by Best Buy at 8:45 and there were about 50 people in line in the rain waiting already. My conclusion = not worth it!
That is insane! How much of a savings is it? I'd say it better be pretty darn good.

it was $400 less than the lowest online price, $600 less than the best buy online price (w/o shipping i think) and 800 less than the best buy in store price.
