100th post

I've been watching TV shows lately, which is something I haven't done for years. Right now it seems like everything NBC is doing is just quality. Studio 60 on the sunset strip is a smart, funny show with some descent characters. It showcases Aaron Sorkin's trademark talking 90 miles an hour dialogue. Heroes has a pretty good concept and it's really well shot. It feels a bit like the episodes of Lost I saw i.e. supernatural and never makes sense. The big difference though is that all the "heroes" are new to their powers so you get to see how each one deals with it, etc. That and there's no annoying and ever convenient flashbacks. I already said some good things about Friday Night Lights. Throw in The Office and My Name is Earl and you've got yourself a pretty good line-up.
